Project / Masterplanned community
Jericho
Make a 2,000-home vision impossible to ignore.
Jericho imagines a new urban centre for Langley: a neighbourhood of homes, local businesses and shared spaces, connected by Greenway Boulevard. At 200th Street and 80th Avenue, opposite the Langley Events Centre, Essence Properties’ vision extends beyond a residential address to a place within the city’s growing cultural and commercial life.
Ahead of Jericho Park’s launch, BSMNT guided the masterplan’s positioning, naming and creative direction through to the sales-gallery experience.

This is the new Langley.
01 / The reset
A new centre of gravity.
The campaign drew its conviction from Essence’s long-standing connection to Langley. Jericho was conceived as a new centre of activity in a rapidly growing city, with shopping, recreation and neighbourhood life woven into the residential setting. That became the invitation: “This is the new Langley.”

02 / The naming
A shared identity, distinct places.
The move from Jericho Crossing to Jericho established the masterbrand. Park, Square and District gave its residential releases individual identities, while The Shops at Jericho brought the commercial offering into the same family. The naming reflected the different settings within one neighbourhood.

03 / The first homes
Life in balance.
Jericho Park introduced a quieter expression of the masterplan. Its four six-storey buildings surround a landscaped courtyard, with shared spaces for gathering, working and recreation. “Life in balance” captured this first release: connected to the energy around it, with space for a more settled daily rhythm.

04 / The proof
A welcome to the new Langley.
The presentation centre brought the community’s ambition into a welcoming, residential setting. Sketch Studio, The Good Thunder and The Collaborative Design Studio helped realise an experience grounded in the same balance as Jericho Park: urban in outlook, approachable in character. The launch introduced the neighbourhood through that first, tangible encounter.
